One of the country's leading international property consultants is amongst the first organisations to benefit from Link 51's latest shelving equipment development. The Birmingham offices of DTZ, feature three separate installations of 'Stormor' mobile shelving systems - now key to a recent office centralisation that has seen offices on six separate floors relocated into a new, single 22,000 sq. ft. facility
A combination of filing boxes, lever arch files and colour-coded document wallets are used at the site with the shelving layout designed to accommodate the wide range of dimensions. This sees eight shelf levels provided in back-to-back runs, each three bays wide with up to six faces in each location. Flanked by static shelving, the mobile units are mounted on parallel rails located into a raised floor, with movement achieved through the simple action of a hand-wheel. Because the Stormor product has been specified, slim upright sections are used so maximum space can be dedicated to the storage area. The easy-to-assemble, clip-together design means that DTZ can simply adjust the shelf layout should future requirements change.
